Reverse mentoring for an inclusive future
Earlier this year, nine executive leadership team members (ELT) were each paired with a more junior colleague for a six-month reverse mentoring opportunity.
Mike is an experienced developer with a strong track record in delivering complex design, development, and construction projects—often through partnerships between the public and private sectors.
He leads Landsec’s Capital Projects division, which integrates all aspects of project delivery across the business. This includes both major and smaller-scale developments, as well as project management, engineering, and maintenance. The division also houses Landsec’s Sustainability team, ensuring that sustainable value creation is embedded in the design and delivery of Landsec’s places for customers and communities alike.In addition to leading Capital Projects, Mike oversees MediaCity and is responsible for incubating Landsec’s emerging residential platform.
Mike joined Landsec through its acquisition of U+I, where he led the integration process and established Landsec’s regeneration capability as a core area of specialism. Before joining U+I in 2020, Mike was Managing Director at Capital & Counties Properties PLC (Capco), where he led the £10 billion, 77-acre Earls Court redevelopment and its subsequent sale. He also oversaw a number of award-winning heritage and restoration projects within Capco’s Covent Garden estate. Mike trained as an architect in both the UK and the Netherlands.
Mike is currently a Trustee of Centrepoint, a charity dedicated to ending youth homelessness.
