Landsec announced today that it has been awarded a WELL Platinum Certification for its flexible office space, Myo Liverpool Street, by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). Only eight other buildings in the UK have achieved Well Platinum Certification, placing Myo Liverpool Street within the top 10 healthiest spaces nationwide.
In addition to being one of the first spaces in the country to be awarded the highest WELL accreditation, Myo Liverpool Street is also the first Platinum rated flexible office space in the City of London - demonstrating Landsec’s commitment to creating healthy, productive spaces for customers.
Situated within the newly refurbished Dashwood, Myo Liverpool Street opened in 2021 and is the second location for Landsec’s flexible office brand. Following the pandemic, Landsec has seen sustained demand for flexible, healthy spaces and designed Myo with customer wellbeing in mind.
Oliver Knight, Head of Offices at Landsec said: “We’re seeing firsthand how the right workspace can create value for our customers by enabling collaboration, retaining talent and building their individual culture. Creating buildings which have a positive impact on people’s wellbeing is a key part of this. Myo Liverpool Street is an exceptional space which places customer wellbeing at its heart so we’re delighted that it has been recognised as one of the healthiest spaces in the UK.”
Ann Marie Aguilar, Senior Vice President, Commercial, EMEA at IWBI, said: “Myo Liverpool Street’s recent achievement is emblematic not only of Landsec’s commitment to health and well-being, but indicative of an exciting upward trend of organizations putting people first in London, and across the UK.”
The prestigious distinction was awarded through IWBI’s WELL v2 pilot. WELL is the premier building standard to focus on enhancing people’s health and well-being through the buildings where we live, work and play. To be awarded WELL Certification by IWBI, Myo Liverpool Street underwent rigorous testing and a final evaluation carried out by third parties to ensure it met all WELL Certified Platinum performance requirements.
