Landsec celebrates a trio of new restaurant lettings at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth

19 September 2019

Landsec has announced a trio of new restaurant lettings at Gunwharf Quays across 9,800 sq ft of space. The premium retail outlet welcomes The Alchemist, Bill’s and Hubbox to the scheme.

American street food chain, Hubbox, will be welcoming guests to its new location opposite the Spinnaker Tower from mid-September 2019. The brand began life in a converted shipping container in Truro, Cornwall and has grown into a hugely successful chain across the UK’s south west.

The Alchemist is due to bring its trademark cocktails and all-day dining offer to Gunwharf Quays from November 2019. The new venue will span over 4,100 sq ft, providing space for 175 guests, with a further 80 outside on its terrace. The site’s design is led by Macaulay Sinclair, the acclaimed interior architecture and design studio.

Restaurant group, Bill’s is due to open at Gunwharf Quays in Spring 2020. Famous for its hearty breakfasts, veg-centric lunches, and popular a la carte dinners, restaurants and menus are packed full of vibrant colours and locally sourced produce.

Kasia Lesiuk, Senior Portfolio Manager, Landsec, said: “Gunwharf Quays is a day-out destination and we are committed to providing the best experience possible for our guests. Through active asset management we’ll continue to build on this success and attract innovative new brands to complement the already exciting offer.”

Oli Marcroft, Associate Partner, KLM Retail, commented: “Gunwharf Quays continues to attract leading names and this trio of brands is a great addition to the already strong line up, which includes the recently opened Pho and Cosy Club venues.
